Care From People Who Truly Get it
As moms and as providers, we understand how much you’re carrying. The constant juggling, the mental load, the moments where you’re trying to hold everything together while quietly wondering if you’re doing it right.
At Generation Health, we support parents, children, and families with care that’s grounded in real-life experience, not just theory.
WHY WAS GENERATION HEALTH CREATED?
Generation Health was created from a deep understanding that families deserve care that actually meets them where they are.
As moms ourselves, we know how overwhelming it can feel when something isn’t working, especially when it comes to your child, your family, and even yourself. Too often, parents are left trying to figure things out on their own, bouncing between providers, searching for answers, and feeling like no one is really looking at the full picture.
We wanted to create something different. A space where families feel understood, supported, and guided in a way that actually fits their day-to-day life.
This work is rooted in the belief that families deserve care that is honest, supportive, and grounded in real life. Not just clinical solutions, but help that truly understands what you’re carrying!
The Women Behind
Generation Health
I created Generation Health because I saw how many families were being left to figure things out on their own. When something feels off with your child, your family, or even within yourself, it shouldn’t feel this hard to find the right kind of support.
I work with parents and families who are carrying a lot. Whether it’s stress at home, big life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or trying to understand what your child needs, I know how quickly things can start to feel heavy. You’re doing your best, and sometimes it still feels like it’s not enough. I want you to have a space where you feel seen, supported, and not alone in that.
This work is personal for me. I’m a business owner, a single mom, and a foster and adoptive parent. I understand what it’s like to juggle multiple roles, carry constant responsibility, and still want to show up well for the people who matter most.
One thing I say often is “work on yourself first.” It’s one of the few things we actually have control over, but it’s also the thing we tend to put off. We’re busy, we’re juggling everything, and before we know it, we’re stuck in patterns that feel frustrating and hard to break. No judgment here. I get it.
I’ve been working with individuals and families as a therapist since 2018, with a background in healthcare prior to that, and I’ve spent my career serving the Fort Worth community I grew up in. I take a solution-focused, strengths-based approach, which means we’ll focus on what’s already working, build on your strengths, and create practical steps that actually move things forward.
My style is direct, honest, grounded, and supportive. I’m a “let’s get to it” kind of therapist. You can be real here, without judgment, while still being challenged in ways that lead to growth.
There may not be a quick fix, but there is a way forward that feels more supported, more clear, and more manageable. And you don’t have to figure it out alone!
Ashley Strawther, LCSW
I’ve always believed that therapy isn’t just about treatment plans. It’s about people, families, and what real life actually looks like day to day.
I’m originally from Fort Worth, and I’ve worked in both clinic and home settings, which has given me a very real perspective on how progress actually happens. My experience includes working with children, individuals with developmental delays and learning challenges, as well as hand therapy and support across different stages of life.
I’m also a wife, a mom of two, and a business owner, so I understand how full life can feel. Like many of the families I work with, I’m balancing home, work, and everything in between. I know how quickly things can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to take care of everyone else while also figuring out what your child needs.
What really drives my work is understanding the emotional side of it all. I know what it feels like to have that thought creep in, wondering if something might be wrong or if your child is getting the support they need. Those moments can feel heavy and isolating, and you shouldn’t have to navigate them alone.
I also understand how stressful it can be when an injury, diagnosis, or unexpected change shifts your day-to-day life. When simple things become hard, you just want answers and a clear path forward.
My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and help you make sense of what’s going on while building practical, meaningful steps toward progress. I want families to feel supported, heard, and a little less alone in the process!
Kelley Stiggers, OTR
I’m a Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine, and I care deeply about supporting individuals and families in a way that feels both compassionate and practical.
I believe meaningful care starts with listening. Not just to symptoms, but to what’s really going on in your life. I take the time to understand the full picture so you’re not left feeling rushed, dismissed, or unsure about what comes next. From there, we work together to create a plan that feels clear, realistic, and actually supportive of your day-to-day life.
I know how overwhelming it can feel when something doesn’t seem right, whether it’s your own health or your child’s. The questions, the uncertainty, and the pressure to figure things out quickly can feel like a lot to carry. My goal is to help you slow that down, make sense of what’s going on, and feel more confident in the decisions you’re making moving forward.
My approach is rooted in helping families feel informed, supported, and empowered. You deserve to understand what’s happening, what your options are, and what your next steps look like, without feeling overwhelmed or alone in the process.
Family is a big part of who I am. I’m a wife and a mom of two teenagers, and I understand how important it is to find balance while taking care of the people you love. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and practicing yoga, both of which help me stay grounded and connected to the kind of care I want to provide to others.
My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and confident in how to move forward, no matter where you’re starting!

Who We Support
We work with parents, children, and families who are navigating real-life challenges and just want things to feel a little more manageable again.
This includes families experiencing stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, developmental concerns, behavior challenges, or major life transitions. We hold a special place for moms, foster and adoptive families, and caregivers who are carrying so much, often quietly, while still trying to show up for everyone else.
If that’s you, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep holding everything together on your own. This is a space where you can feel supported, understood, and finally take a breath!
Our Approach
We take a whole-family approach because life doesn’t happen in separate pieces. What’s going on emotionally, physically, and at home are often all connected, and when one area feels off, it can impact everything else.
At Generation Health, we step back and look at the full picture so you’re not left trying to figure it all out on your own. Our goal is to offer support that feels clear, grounded, and actually helpful in your day-to-day life.
You can expect care that meets you without judgment, creates space for you to feel seen and heard, and offers guidance that feels practical, not overwhelming. Most importantly, we focus on building support that truly fits your life, not something that only works in theory.
